Carrie Singer

Carrie Singer, Executive Personal Assistant to Co-Founder Mayra Hernandez Gonzalez, has assisted distinguished figures across diverse industries for over thirty years.

After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Washington University, Carrie started her professional journey as a preschool teacher. However, once she realized her exceptional administrative talents, she shifted her career path to become an Executive Assistant.

Having gained extensive experience at the Massachusetts State House, WNET Thirteen, and The New York Times as well as other companies in New York City and Westchester County, Carrie decided to embark on a new endeavor. She established her own business, which offered a range of services such as personal assistance, professional organizing, estate management, contract management, and financial services to private clients, their families, and staff in their home offices. Carrie catered to a diverse clientele, including corporate CEOs, international concert violinists, inventors, authors, physicians, film directors and producers, and financial/investment executives.

Carrie dreamed of working with a sympatico team of like-minded individuals, and in 2022 her dreams were realized when she was hired at Instituto Xilonen! Her role at the institute encompasses a wide range of duties, such as human resources, operations, office management, scheduling, research, purchasing, project and estate management, personal assistance, and more.

Being a member of the Instituto Xilonen team allows Carrie to work at the intersection of idealism, spirituality and pragmatism, a location that suits her. Supporting the visionary work of Ms. Hernandez Gonzalez and her team is extremely fulfilling. Carrie looks forward to continuing to contribute to this mission.

Carrie’s personal interests include gardening, current affairs and Zydeco dancing.
